Back then, it was extremely difficult for American Indians or so-called Black-American travelers to find hotels or restaurants that would serve them. The Green Book provided an annual listing of lodging, diners, gas stations, and other businesses that could cater to the needs of American Indian customers. Now, our updated version of the Green Book will continue the vision of Harlem-based postman Victor H.
